offshore structures both on the surface and subsea.
Flowline Bundles
We have extensive experience of the launch, tow and installation of flowline bundles, using various towage methods
including surface tow, bottom tow and controlled depth towing method (CDTM).
Our involvement in CDTM bundle towages is extensive and we are able to offer the most experienced bundle
Towmasters and Marine Specialists available to the industry.
Our experience covers both shallow, intermediate and ultra deepwater bundle tow and installation as well as surface
riser tow, upending and vertical installation.
Floating Production Systems
United Towmasters personnel have been involved in numerous projects engaged in the tow out and installation of
floating production systems. We have acted as Towmasters and OIM's for the tow out and installation of various FPSO
projects as well as providing marine supervision and support for the installation and hook up of CALM buoys and other
types of tanker loading and offloading units.
In addition to tow and installation operations we have been engaged to supervise and manage the engineering,
installation and preloading of mooring systems for FPSO's and other types of floating production systems.
Structures
United Towmasters marine specialists and towmasters have been engaged in the tow out and installation of numerous
offshore structures including steel and concrete jackets as well as some of the very largest of GBS tow and installation
operations. We have also been involved in the subsequent marine operations for the installation of topsides on these
structures.
Ocean Towages
Our key personnel have been involved in some major ocean towages, particularly long distance double and tandem
tows. We provide the towmasters to oversee the operations and prior to commencement we plan and compile the
towage manual and oversee all towage preparations including seafastening, tow rigging, ballasting and all necessary
approvals.
Rig Moves
All our towmasters are experienced rig movers on both jack up and semi submersible units. In addition to our
towmasters services we can prepare rigmove procedures, mobilise (and demobilise) towing and anchor handling
vessels for the move, oversee the logistics operations in terms of rigmove equipment, rigging etc.
