Marine Suitability
Marine Suitability audits for all types of vessels engaged in offshore marine construction and oilfield operations. Our
experience ranges from the smallest inshore survey boats to the very largest heavy lift crane barges, pipelayers and
sophisticated DP construction vessels. Vessel capability is particularly important and is assessed against the requirements
of the project, all the way through to the minutest detail.
Marine Safety
All our personnel,are well experienced in up to date HSE requirements of both industry and statutory bodies. We can either
carry out the audits to UKOOA/IMCA guidelines or more specifically to clients own requirements. We have often been called
upon to compile a specific audit format to comply with a clients own HSE requirements.
DP Audits & Trials
Our Marine Specialists are highly experienced in DP operations, all are certified DP Operators, most of whom have sailed
as Master on DP vessels. Once again we can either carry out the audits to UKOOA/IMCA guidelines or more specifically to
clients own requirements. We are often required to compile specific audit formats to comply with a clients own marine
operational requirements.
MODU Audits
We carry out MODU pre charter audits on behalf of oil majors. We have personnel experienced in both Jack Up and
Semi-Submersible rigs and can ensure the rigs are audited to the highest standards ensuring they comply with the relevent
MODU Code or clients specific charter requirements.
Ballast Systems
We are able to carry out ballast system audits of semi submersible vessels and barges where compliance with specific
regulations or codes is required or where clients have specific operating requirements. We have audited vessel ballast
systems following fatal accidents and also for pre-charter purposes. In particular we can provide advice and supervision for
temporary ballast systems in structures which need to be transported afloat for installation purposes.
